With great pleasure, ALPHA participated as a sponsor in the 1st Conference of the Association of Greek Shading Companies, which was successfully held on December 2, 2024, at the Benaki Museum.
The conference, titled “The Contribution of Shading to the Energy Upgrade of Buildings – Modern Products, New Technologies & Solutions,” gathered numerous professionals and industry experts, offering a unique opportunity for information sharing and discussion on the latest developments in shading and energy upgrades for buildings.

The participation was impressive, with the shading sector strongly represented, along with many architects, civil engineers, and energy inspectors.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Energy & Environment, Ms. Alexandra Sdoukou, who, in her speech, emphasized the importance of shading as an integral part of the building envelope and its contribution to building energy efficiency.

The conference was organized under the auspices of the European Solar Shading Organisation (ES-SO), and the president of ES-SO, Mr. Anders Hall, was among the speakers, offering valuable insights and perspectives on the future of the sector.
